North Cyprus’s Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee has discussed the Motor Vehicle Sellers and Importers Association Bill and will continue its work at its next meeting, according to a written statement from the Republic Assembly reported by Yeniduzen.
The committee heard views from representatives of the Finance Ministry, the Customs and Excise Department, the Security Forces Command and the Motor Vehicle Sellers and Importers Association, the statement said.
The meeting was chaired by UBP MP Sunat Atun. CTP MP Filiz Besim, UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan and CTP MP Devrim Barçın also took part.
Separately, the committee considered two proposed amendments to the Security Public Officials Law for a second time. The Assembly statement said those bills would be considered at a third reading during the committee’s next meeting because they do not carry an urgency designation.
No timetable for the next meeting or further details of the proposed Motor Vehicle Sellers and Importers Association Bill were included in the statement.
