Çatalköy-Esentepe adds two vehicles for fire and flood response

Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality has acquired two first-response vehicles intended to strengthen its capacity to respond to fires and flooding, Yeniduzen and Halkın Sesi reported.

According to Yeniduzen, the vehicles were purchased with municipal funds. One is planned to be based in Çatalköy and the other in Esentepe, while both can be deployed to settlements across the municipality when required.

The municipality said the vehicles are intended to support quicker initial action during the early stages of fires, as well as flooding linked to heavy rainfall and similar emergencies.

Mayor Ceyhun Kırok said rapid intervention in the first stages of fires and floods was important, adding that the municipality was continuing to improve its response capacity.
