Cemal Gingi wins Nicosia darts memorial tournament

Cemal Gingi won the Ahmet Japon Levent Memorial Tournament, which was held as the fifth leg of the Nicosia Darts Association’s individual league, according to Halkın Sesi.

Mehmet Sümer finished runner-up and Tony Stone placed third in the Nicosia event.

Halkın Sesi reported that Gingi also produced the tournament’s highest checkout, completing a 150-point finish. Murat Çınaroğlu recorded two 180 scores, reported as the event’s highest scoring performance.

The lowest-dart finish was 16 darts, achieved by both Gingi and Tamer Kaya, the newspaper said.

Awards were presented by family members Turgut Çalıcı and Tuncay Levent, alongside Nicosia Darts Association secretary Emre Karakulak.
