Masalsı Dünya (Fairytale World), a group exhibition organised by Mavi Fırça Sanat Evi, has opened at Famagusta Bandabuliya.
According to information from the art house, the exhibition was curated by Zühre Özkaraman and brings together 103 works by 13 children. The paintings draw on the children’s imaginations, while some works take inspiration from Cypriot folk tales.
Before the opening, the participants received certificates after completing a summer Creativity Development and Drawing course taught by Özkaraman, Yeniduzen reported.
Magnets based on the children’s canvas paintings have also been produced for sale. The newspaper reported that all proceeds will be donated to the İrfan Nadir Rehabilitation Centre, which serves people with disabilities aged over 18.
The exhibition is scheduled to remain open to visitors at Famagusta Bandabuliya until 17 October.
