Clear start expected before afternoon cloud across Cyprus

Friday is expected to begin with largely clear skies across Cyprus before cloud builds during the afternoon, according to a weather forecast published by Cyprus Mail.

Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach 30°C inland and along the south and east coasts. Elsewhere on the coast, highs are expected to be around 28°C, while mountain areas may reach 20°C.

Overnight, temperatures are expected to fall to 16°C inland, 18°C on the coast and 10°C in the mountains.

Saturday is forecast to remain mostly clear. For Sunday and Monday, isolated showers and occasional thunderstorms are possible, mainly in mountainous and inland districts and in the north of the island.

Temperatures are expected to remain broadly steady over the next three days.
