Cool, humid conditions to bring heavy showers across North Cyprus

North Cyprus is expected to experience heavy showers through Saturday as a cool and humid air mass affects the region, according to the Meteorology Department forecast reported by Halkın Sesi and Yenidüzen.

The department’s weekly outlook covers 29 September to 5 October. It forecasts heavy showers for five days, from the day after the announcement through Saturday, while partly cloudy conditions are expected on Sunday and Monday.

Maximum temperatures are forecast to reach 28–31°C inland, 27–30°C along the coast and 23–26°C in mountainous areas. Minimum temperatures are expected to range from 15–18°C inland, 19–22°C on the coast and 14–17°C in the mountains.

Winds are forecast to be moderate from the south and west, occasionally becoming strong.
