The TRNC Presidency has opened applications for children’s and youth books under its Cüce Fil Children’s and Youth Publications project.
Reports by Yeniduzen and Halkin Sesi said the public call was issued on 14 October 2026 through joint work by the Presidency’s Culture-Arts and Education committees. Applications will be accepted through the Presidency’s official website until the close of business on 31 March 2027.
The call covers books intended for six different age groups. Submitted works will be assessed by a specialist or expert team, according to the reports.
The Presidency describes the initiative as an effort to develop original and creative publications for children and young people, while bringing new work in literature, art and science to readers. The project is also presented as an initial step towards planned Culture, Arts and Science Publications under the Presidency.
Selected works are targeted to be ready for publication in September 2027. That timetable is an estimate rather than a confirmed publication date.
Authors and other applicants can find the application details and submit their work through the Presidency’s website.
