Cyprus forecast to see rising cloud and isolated rain into Tuesday

Cyprus is forecast to have a warm, mostly clear start on Saturday, October 10, before cloud increases later in the day and through the weekend, according to the Met Office forecast reported by Cyprus Mail.

Afternoon cloud could bring brief, isolated showers over the Troodos mountains after noon. Temperatures are expected to reach around 31C in the interior and along the south and east coasts.

Cloud is forecast to build through the weekend and continue until Tuesday. Isolated rain and possible thunderstorms around midday may affect Nicosia, Morphou and Kyrenia, the forecast indicated.

Temperatures are expected to dip slightly on Monday before levelling off on Tuesday. Overnight temperatures could fall to around 19C in Nicosia and 20C in Limassol and Larnaca, while Troodos may drop to about 11C.
