DND Cyprus has announced a Turkish-lira-based payment model for residential projects in North Cyprus, according to a report by Yeniduzen.
The company said the plan will link instalment updates to increases in the minimum wage in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It also plans to offer up to 60 months of financing without interest or additional surcharges for property sales conducted in Turkish lira.
Ozan Dökmecioğlu, founder of DND Cyprus, said the model was developed to make home purchases more accessible to people whose income is paid in Turkish lira. The statement was reported by Yeniduzen; the evidence available to News24 does not provide further details on eligibility, deposit requirements or the projects’ prices.
DND Cyprus said it plans to apply the payment model to projects in Famagusta, Nicosia and Kyrenia.
The proposed structure would make payment schedules directly responsive to changes in the minimum wage, although the available information does not specify how often instalments would be reviewed or how any adjustments would be calculated.
