East Cyprus Music Meetings planned in Larnaca and Famagusta

East Cyprus Music Meetings will be held in Larnaca and Famagusta during October and November, according to a report by Yeniduzen. The events will bring together musicians, songwriters, producers, concert organisers and other music-industry professionals from across Cyprus.

The programme will include workshops and talks for people working in music. It is organised by Windcraft Loud in cooperation with SCALA Music & Sound Hub and Cyprus Mixtape.

The programme is implemented by the United Nations Development Programme under the facilitation of the UN Secretary-General’s Good Offices Mission in Cyprus and funded by the European Union.

According to Yeniduzen, the initiative aims to help develop a shared professional and cultural space for Cyprus’s music community while addressing its needs and future. It is intended to bring together participants from across the island as part of efforts to support cooperation within the Cyprus music community.
