The first 30 minutes of parking at Ercan Airport are free under a new tariff that took effect on October 15, according to the North Cyprus Ministry of Public Works and Transport, as reported by Halkın Sesi.
The ministry said the tariff was prepared following initiatives by the Civil Aviation Department and approved by the Ministry of Finance. It added that the arrangement was introduced under relevant provisions of the agreement governing Ercan Airport’s management and operation.
According to the ministry, the free-parking measure is intended to provide an alternative option and help reduce vehicle congestion in front of the Arrivals Terminal.
The announcement did not provide further tariff details in the supplied report. Airport users should check the parking signs and payment information on site when using the facility.
