Girne–Değirmenlik mountain road section closed until 30 September
A section of the Girne–Değirmenlik Mountain Road between the Acapulco Junction and Alevkayası is closed to through traffic by cars and motorcycles until 30 September during road works.
A section of the Girne–Değirmenlik Mountain Road between the Girne Acapulco Junction and Alevkayası will remain closed until 30 September, according to the North Cyprus Highways Department.
The closure applies to through traffic by passenger cars and motorcycles while road works continue under the KKTC Road Master Plan. The department said the restriction was intended to protect life and property.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the closed section and to drive carefully and at low speed on the route. The department also asked road users to observe speed limits, traffic signs and directions given by personnel.
