The Prime Ministry says it is planning TL 109.8 million in interest support for credit programmes in 2026, alongside TL 170 million in partial-grant schemes for agriculture, industry, tourism and entrepreneurship.

In a statement attributed to Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, the office said the interest-supported programmes are intended to facilitate about TL 300 million in lending to an estimated 450 people. The loans are planned over 36 months at a 20% interest rate, with applications expected to open after a Council of Ministers decision.

The proposed interest-support allocation includes TL 30 million for agricultural lending, TL 30 million for the medium-sized tourism sector and TL 49.8 million for tradespeople and service businesses, according to the Prime Ministry.

The planned partial grants total TL 170 million for 2026. That package covers agriculture, industry, tourism and entrepreneurship, including TL 50 million earmarked for a young entrepreneurship programme. A call for projects under the entrepreneurship programme is also expected following a Council of Ministers decision.

The Prime Ministry said that, since 2016, its entrepreneurship programme has awarded grants to 203 project owners and contributed to approximately 370 jobs. It also reported that 723 projects received a combined TL 2,072,036,365 through agriculture, tourism and competitiveness programmes between 2011 and 2026.

Export support proposal submitted

The statement also outlined a proposed amendment to the Export Incentive Regulation that has been submitted to the Council of Ministers. Under the proposal, exports to the United Kingdom and the United States would be brought within the scope of support.

The amendment would additionally cover raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished products obtained through recycling as supported industrial products. Separately, the Prime Ministry said exporters received TL 31,960,377 in freight refunds during 2025.

The announced credit, grant and export measures remain subject to the relevant Council of Ministers decisions where specified by the Prime Ministry.
