The Cyprus Turkish Medical Association (KTTB) will hold its 26th ordinary general assembly on Saturday, 24 October, according to a report by Yeniduzen citing the association. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 14:00 at the KTTB Dr Mustafa Hami Conference Hall.
The agenda includes elections for the association’s president, executive board, honorary board and supervisory board. Activity and financial reports will also be presented during the assembly.
Members will consider a proposal concerning the KTTB Physician Portal and digitalisation under the Personal Data Protection Law. Another proposal would authorise the executive board to complete work on the association’s law, numbered 13/1976, and take it to an extraordinary general assembly.
The agenda also includes a proposal on the registration process. Under the proposal, electronically verified diplomas and specialist certificates could be accepted directly by the KTTB and its chambers when doctors apply for membership.
A further proposal would authorise the executive board to oversee the construction and tender process for a KTTB local association building in Famagusta.
