Küçük Kaymaklı and Çetinkaya draw 2-2 in Nicosia derby

Küçük Kaymaklı and Çetinkaya drew 2-2 in their Lefkoşa derby during the seventh week of the AKSA Süper Lig, Halkın Sesi reported.

Çetinkaya took an early lead when Muammer Tip scored in the second minute. Küçük Kaymaklı levelled through Mehmet Öztürk in the 59th minute, but Çetinkaya regained the advantage three minutes later through Ali Nazlıoğlu.

The match appeared to be heading towards a Çetinkaya victory until Küçük Kaymaklı were awarded a penalty in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Billy Michael converted from the spot to make it 2-2.

The result left both teams on six points, according to the report. The derby was played at Şehit Hüseyin Ruso Stadium in Lefkoşa.
