Lighting upgraded at Yeni Erenköy Sports Hall

The Sports Department has renewed the lighting at Yeni Erenköy Sports Hall, according to Halkın Sesi.

Sports Department Director Ersan Karataş said lighting problems at the hall had prevented night matches from being held. He said the upgrade had addressed a significant issue for the venue.

Karataş said the improved lighting would enable young people from Yeni Erenköy and the wider Karpaz area to continue sporting activities in a brighter, more comfortable setting.

The work follows an earlier lighting upgrade at Lefkoşa Atatürk Sports Hall, the newspaper reported. Karataş said the department was continuing to tackle sports-related problems across the island within the resources available to it.
