Meteorology Department lists 24-hour rainfall totals across several areas

Yenierenköy recorded 34 kilograms of rainfall per square metre over a 24-hour period, according to Meteorology Department measurements reported by Halkın Sesi.

The readings covered the period from 08:00 on the previous day until 08:00 the following day. The department listed Yenierenköy as having the highest total among the locations included in its report.

Sipahi recorded 21 kilograms per square metre, while Kırıkkale recorded 11 kilograms. Mehmetçik received 6 kilograms per square metre and Tatlısu recorded 5 kilograms.

Alsancak, Kalkanlı, Vadili and Gemikonağı each recorded 4 kilograms per square metre. Bostancı, Taşpınar and Lefke each recorded 3 kilograms, the measurements showed.
