Mostly sunny Friday forecast for most of Cyprus, with inland high of 38°C

Mostly sunny weather is forecast for most of Cyprus on Friday, September 11, with temperatures expected to remain high inland, according to a forecast reported by Cyprus Mail.

Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach 38°C inland. Highs of 34°C are expected along the south and east coasts, while the west and north coasts may reach 32°C. Mountain areas are expected to be cooler, with a high of about 28°C.

Skies are expected to stay largely clear overnight. Light fog or mist may develop in the early hours of Saturday, the report said.

Overnight temperatures are forecast to fall to 18°C inland, 22°C on the coast and 17°C in the mountains.

Clear conditions are expected to continue through most of the weekend, although some areas may see increased cloud cover during the afternoons. Temperatures are forecast to edge up slightly over the weekend before a small decline on Monday.
