Nicosia Municipal Theatre opens season with two October plays

Nicosia Municipal Theatre will begin its 2026-27 season in October with two plays at separate venues, according to the theatre’s programme as reported by Halkın Sesi and Yenidüzen.

Bir İhtimal Kabare, written and directed by Aliye Ummanel, is scheduled to open on Monday, 19 October at 8pm at Bandabuliya Sahnesi. A further performance is planned at the same venue on Monday, 26 October.

The second play, Yanlışlık, was written by Albert Camus, translated by Ayberk Erkay and will be directed by Nehir Demirel. Its first performance is scheduled for Friday, 23 October at 8pm at Nicosia Municipal Theatre, with another date set for Friday, 30 October.
