North Cyprus higher-education scholarship applications open until 31 October

Applications for North Cyprus higher-education scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year’s fall term remain open until 31 October, according to information from Behçet Çelebi, director of the Higher Education and Foreign Relations Department, reported by Halkın Sesi.

The application period began on 14 September. Students must apply online through yobis.mebnet.net, while detailed guidance is available in the website’s “Important Information” section.

Students who received a higher-education scholarship during the spring term of the 2025-2026 academic year must also renew their applications online through the same website, Çelebi said.

Applicants and scholarship recipients should review the requirements and complete the relevant online process before the 31 October deadline.
