The North Cyprus Promotion Platform is scheduled to take part in MÜSİAD EXPO in Istanbul from 23 to 26 September, according to Halkın Sesi.
The platform plans to use the event to present the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to businesspeople, investors and representatives of institutions and organisations expected to attend from different countries.
Its programme will focus on tourism potential, investment opportunities, trade capacity, higher education, cultural assets and entrepreneurship, the newspaper reported.
Platform chairman Okyay Sadıkoğlu said it was important to introduce North Cyprus’s potential through appropriate forums and to audiences relevant to those sectors. He said the organisation intended to continue promotional work in other countries, focusing on tourism, trade, investment and cultural assets for international audiences.
The planned attendance places the platform before a business-focused audience in Istanbul, with its stated aim covering both commercial opportunities and sectors including tourism and higher education.
