Potholes reported on Lefkoşa industrial road months after resurfacing

Traders in Lefkoşa Büyük Sanayi have reported that potholes have reappeared on a road serving the industrial area less than three months after it was resurfaced, Halkın Sesi reported.

The route enters the Lefkoşa industrial area from the east, passes beside Kombos Otomotiv and leads to the Vehicle Registration and Inspection Branch.

According to the traders, the renewed surface deteriorated quickly. They questioned whether the work had been properly inspected and raised concerns about the quality of the asphalt.

The traders also said the road condition was damaging vehicles used by industrial operators, businesses and customers. They said the resurfacing had been funded through taxes paid by the public, businesses and industrial operators.
