Şahlan player Eylül İpek receives Turkey U-14 camp invitation

Şahlan Sports Club handball player Eylül İpek has been invited to Turkey’s U-14 national team camp in Aksaray, Halkın Sesi reported.

The camp is planned to take place in Aksaray, where İpek will train for a place in Turkey’s national team squad.

Halkın Sesi described the invitation as a new achievement for handball development in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Ediz Arıkan, president of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Handball Federation, said the number of athletes from North Cyprus youth programmes invited to national-team camps in Turkey was increasing, according to the report.

Arıkan attributed the achievement to the work of clubs and coaches. He also congratulated İpek, Şahlan Sports Club, the technical staff and her family.
