Thundery showers forecast for parts of North Cyprus on Thursday
The Meteorology Department forecasts locally heavy showers and thunderstorms in parts of North Cyprus on Thursday, with strong winds possible at times.

Locally heavy showers with thunderstorms are forecast in parts of North Cyprus on Thursday, 24 September, according to the Meteorology Department’s weekly outlook reported by Yeniduzen.
The department said the region is expected to be under the influence of a low-pressure system and cool, humid air in the upper atmosphere between 24 and 30 September.
Conditions are expected to be partly cloudy overall during the week, with cloud cover increasing at times. Thursday is the day for which the forecast indicates localised thundery showers.
Maximum temperatures are forecast at 31-34°C inland and 28-31°C on the coast. Winds are expected to blow mainly from the south and west at moderate strength, occasionally becoming strong.
