Vehicle inspection services for residents of the Karpaz region will also be available at a new centre at Yeşilköy Fire Station from 5 October 2026, according to the Police General Directorate.
Halkın Sesi reported that inspections had previously been carried out only through the İskele Police Directorate. The Yeşilköy Vehicle Inspection Centre will provide an additional location for the service.
The Police General Directorate said the centre is intended to ease congestion at the inspection branch in İskele and bring the service closer to people living in Karpaz villages.
